Hello friends! After about 15 years of work I have now put together an introduction to Social Poetry foundations and tools at the request of the Journal of Awareness-Based Systems Change. These foundations and tools underlie the Social Poetry work that has been taking place as part of systems change processes around the world. So in addition to the stories I’ve shared on this blog, this paper outlines, from one direction, what I and others have been trying to achieve with Social Poetry in systems change practice. Hopefully you’ll find that it adds some methodological and theoretical elements to the writings already present on this site. The article is, by necessity, written in more academic language, but hopefully you feel the piece remains true to the work.
